Metal workshop
The metal workshop is a learning environment for education and research and is expert in the areas of metal materials, metal working and jointing techniques.
The metal workshop offers students, researchers and teachers, space, equipment and staff to create prototypes, artistic activities and short-run production using metal and plastic materials. The main areas of activity are related to product design and spatial design.
The workshop complex also includes a plastics workshop as well as a precious metals workshop. The work of the precious metals workshop rests on the traditions of metal artwork and supports the fields of product design, industrial art and art handicrafts. A variety of plastic working and moulding techniques are available in the plastics workshop. There is a paint shop for surface treatment which can be used for brush and spray painting.
