Costumes
In the costumes section, suits and costumes are made for various performing arts projects such as films, TV series, advertisements, theatre and dance shows as well as performances. Research into costume design is also carried out and teaching is organised.
The costumes section overall provides working spaces and equipment as well as guidance on producing costumes and fitting. The area is divided into three smaller spaces: sewing, dyeing area and costumes storage.
The main user of the costumes section is the Department of Film, Television and Scenography. The Media Centre Lume’s studios, together with the costumes storage and scenery storage, make up a unit which enables the supervision of various performance arts productions as well as research related to this field.
